the big "4" OH my

it's really hard to believe that time flies as fast as it does...4 years ago we were was welcoming a 7 pound 8 ounce; 20 1/2 inches long girl into the world and now we are trying to protect all 44 inches and 38 pounds of her! It is amazing how having children of your own makes you more aware of the world. I made EmmaLeigh "happy birthday" hair ribbons for today. We were already at school and i still needed to take a picture..so here it is ready for class!!!

look mom...NO shorts

for the first time since school started the 10th EmmaLeigh has insisted on wearing only skirts and jumpers and skorts to school. well last thursday i thought it was to be pe day and that she should wear her shorts not her skirt, so i got them form her closet and helped her to get dressed well needless to say it was all downhill from there...no shorts no shorts ...i tried the it's pe day and it'll be more fun but no!!! we went to school not real happy at all but with shorts on...
mom won that battle... or so i thought!!! i picked her up and she said but we didn't even have pe today its tomorrow!!! so child winner! we went on friday and picked her up another skirt and some polos to wear ... and i convinced her last night that sicnce it was pe day today FRIDAY that her shorts would be the best to wear... so shorts it is today
