EmmaLeigh came home the other day talking about taking a test at school.
Wow i thought...k-4 is kinda early isn't it but then i remembered that she had one at the end of k-3 about what they had been taught and what they actually mastered...she did fairly well then...ok really, really well...
A few weekends ago the 3 of us were at the gas station and jj was out of the car...and i was trying to keep her entertained so we were talking about things at school and what they were learning. We were talking about numbers and counting and that fun kind of stuff. I was trying to get her to count backwards from 10-1, she stopped me and said no let's do the alphabet...i thought oh no not that song again...it never seems to end and she started...
Z-Y-X...i thought what kind of song is this they learned at music...
W-V-U-T...i finally realized what she was doing and helped her with like 2-3 letters she got there before i could... i was so impressed... and no it was not any song that she had learned she just remembered them...proud momma moment!!!
maybe next time we can get the numbers backwards...
As you can see above...her 1st test was great! No wonder she loves school and thinks tests are great!!! We hope that passion continues!
